About me
Frances, aged 25, is drawn to undersea exploration by her love of the ocean. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine and Natural History Photography. Not formally classed as a scientist, she has always used scientific and explorative reasoning to give purpose to her photographic projects.
Her education revolved around learning new subjects that related to the natural world. Throughout college, she explored areas of natural science, geology and biology primarily, whilst maintaining her enthusiasm for the arts. She began her scuba diving qualifications and she is now a qualified PADI Divemaster. Not only based in UK waters, she’s had the pleasure of diving around the world in such places as Galapagos, Egypt and Iceland. Due to her diving capabilities she was able to undertake, filming and exploration whilst carrying out research for her own projects on to various topics such as education, outreach programs and into her own written projects.
